City hall can’t issue building permits, keep track of elevator inspections, it takes 6 months to replace a broken trashcan, it’s a struggle to get a basic business license, and the list goes on and on.
Right now are roads are full of potholes, the sidewalks either don’t exist or are in disrepair, and the bus system lacks coverage and reliability. In Richmond we deserve to finally have our neighborhoods made a top priority.
We must do 3 things.
1. Addressing the falling graduation rates.
2. Our school buildings are falling apart around our kids.
3. We must rework our curriculum to meet the needs of Richmond’s children.
We must put schools first and our kids first because that is what they deserve.
